Governor Abbott Appoints Bishop Kendall County Criminal District Attorney

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Nicole Bishop as the Kendall County Criminal District Attorney for a term set to expire December 31, 2018, or until her successor shall be duly elected and qualified. This appointment will be effective January 1, 2017.

Nicole Bishop of Boerne is an assistant county attorney and chief criminal prosecutor for the Kendall County Attorney’s Office. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Texas District & County Attorneys Association. She is a county alternate for the Alamo Area Council of Governments Criminal Justice Advisory Committee and a member and former president of the Kendall County Bar Association. Additionally, she is a member and former president of the Rainbow Senior Center at Kronkosky Place Board of Directors and a member of the Noon Rotary Club of Boerne. Bishop received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Texas A&M University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law.
