Texas Crime Stoppers Training
Texas Crime Stoppers offers a series of two-day courses for board members, sponsors, administrators, and coordinators of Texas Crime Stoppers organizations. These courses may include the following topics: operational guidelines, board responsibilities, legal items, record keeping, campus crime stoppers, tip taking best practices, annual reporting, certification requirements, fundraising and marketing, volunteer management.
Texas Crime Stoppers Conferences
Each October and February, Texas Crime Stoppers volunteers, administrators, program sponsors, School Resource Officers (SRO) and law enforcement coordinators gather from near and far for the annual Texas Crime Stoppers conferences. The events provide attendees a great learning experience with a focus on current trends and issues seen in the community.
Sixteen hours of continuing certification and TCOLE credit are available upon successful completion of all conference requirements, attendance at all sessions, and submission of all completed training documents. Attendance at the Texas Crime Stoppers Conferences satisfy training requirements for initial and continued certification for all Crime Stoppers Organizations.
